There is something so wonderous about the beautiful spirals of ammonites - and now you can take a silver replica of a Dorset Jurassic Coast ammonite with you wherever you go!
The original ammonite fossils are carefully moulded in sand, into which molten silver is poured. Each silver pendant is carefully cleaned up and polished, with a bail securely soldered into the ammonite to allow it to be worn. Due to the nature of the sand casting process there can be slight variations between each pendant cast.
Available in two sizes as described below.
The pendants are hung from 18" sterling silver chains which can be fastened at 16", 17" and 18" to suit your needs. They are equally beautiful front and back!
Cast by hand in sterling silver and seen in the last image alongside the original hematised ammonite from which the casts were made.
The small ammonite has a diameter of approximately 12mm at it's widest point. The large ammonite has a diameter of approximately 18mm at it's widest point.
